Tuftmaster Carpets is an Accredited ISO 14001company.
ISO 14001 is a voluntary international standard that specifies a process for controlling and improving a company's environmental performance. It has given Tuftmaster the opportunity to demonstrate its environmental credentials by displaying its understanding of on site processes and activities, determining how these impact on the environment and then addressing these problems through an action plan for ongoing improvement.
Tuftmaster Carpets can provide a stewardship programme on a project by project basis of both Solution Dyed Nylon and Wool carpets. i.e. The carpet is taken back at the end of its warranty period and will not be directed to landfill.

Tuftmaster is an industry leader in researching and implementing new avenues for re-utilising and diverting product from landfill. Pilot programmes are currently taking place.
Tuftmasters Energy Management Plan, which addresses consumption of non-renewable resources, has encouraged the purchase of accredited renewable energy GreenPower.
On the 17th September Tuftmaster were awarded the 2007 Greenhouse Challenge Plus Award for Greenhouse Gas Abatement.
